Step #2, Find your people

There are some clever tools that can help you find your Twitter people on Mastodon. I'd recommend using https://www.movetodon.org/

Log in using your Twitter credentials, and Movetodon will crawl through your Twitter friends list, finding your Twitter friends who have moved to Mastodon and put their Mastodon handles in their Twitter profiles. Give it a go!

Remember, it doesn't matter which server your friends are on -- you'll be able to see their Mastodon posts in your feed. Once they're added, you'll see all your friends posts when you log into your Mastodon account on your Mastodon server. Also, in most cases, your friends will be notified when you follow them, so they can follow you, too!
